About Us

 Why Horn Central? 

The idea of a centralized horn information center came up after having to write a paper for a horn history class. As I was surprised to see how there was no such thing as a "one-stop" horn website, and how hard it could be hard to gather information, I decided to create this site! The initial idea was to only list all the horn websites available. This idea grew into a lot more over time and Horn Central is now on its way to provide information on a lot of horn resources that only available in print, and our list of repertoire keeps growing. Stay tuned!

This website is an outgoing project as I constantly find new resources. I am looking forward to hearing from any horn player or horn enthusiast who can add to this website. The more information we gather, the more useful this site will get for the horn community!
